Workout B – #^+*€<)&$ aka BB BBB – BradyBunch Butt Blaster Beatdown
A couple days prior, the PAX were given the privilege to vote on which workout we would do. On Slack, workout B won by a landslide of 4-1.
warm-o-rama – yes there was one. It was brief, but it was there. And disclaimers were proclaimed.
The Beatdown started with each Pax gathering a coupon (cinderblock) and marched over to a nearby wall of the school. Waiting there were three boards each with set of 5 exercises, 4 leg and 1 ab. This was a tabata workout – 45 seconds of excercise and a 20 second rest. At the end of the set, there was about 50 seconds to run to the far side of the parking lot and back (about 80yds or so total) and immediately start the next set.
The exercises were: *side to side lunge, no surrenders, Bobby Hurleys, Bonnie Blairs, *bounce squats, calf raises, *frog squats, monkey humpers, side to side jump squats, front to back jump squats, Bulgarian split squats, single leg wall chair. The asterisk * represents exercises with coupons. The ab exercises were windshield wipers, LBC’s and Flutter kicks. The intention of the abs was to offer a brief reprieve for the legs.
We got in almost 2 full rounds before time was running short. Coupons were returned and we ran back to the flag for a short Mary.
