After Grabbing some bricks we ran to the LAX fields and circled up.  Rest Stop led us through the 5 core principles and the motto of F3 perfectly then we did a little exercising to get the blood flowing.


The Thang:

Pea Shooter took over from here and explained his workout:

The group split into 2 teams and stationed themselves at each end of the field.  In the middle of the field was a pile of bricks.  The goal was to build 2 6-brick pyramids.  To retrieve bricks you did a portion of a BOMB (starting with 5 reps and adding up reps by 10 from there and adding exercises) then bear crawl to the middle of the field and run back with your brick.  To steal a brick you could run to the other team’s home base, but you could only bring the brick back to the midline before returning home to do the next set of exercises.  After a flawless explanation, the games began, and it quickly became clear the field was a little too muddy for what was planned.  So an audible was made to drop the bear crawls and after the conclusion of the game (won by team 2) we moved to the parking lot next to the field.


Games 2 and 3 were dominated by team 1 and then we headed back to drop the bricks.  We still had a little time so Babyface took over to finish the workout with a DORA using the far track around the memorial then heading back to the flag.



I don’t recall anything, but I want to thank all the men who stopped by Harper’s bake sale in support of Saint Jude’s Children’s Hospital.  Between the F3 men & Fia Ladie’s, she raised over $250 for a charity that she chose to support  Thanks again fellas.
