Mosey to the end of the parking lot.
Warm up: 20 Side Straddle Hop( In Cadence, even though the Q jacked up the call out), 10 windmills, static quad stretch, Michael Phelps with a few Miyagi painters(made this last one up). What followed was a solid round of “Bone the Fish” going left and right! You could call this a nice heat up to get us ready for our Need For Speed.
Round 1: Doracides! Suicide in the bus lanes(25,50,75 yard suicide sprint down and back), P1 completed one suicide round while P2 began the combined 100 merkins, 200 LBC’s, and 300 squats. P1 and P2 would swap after one suicide. I’m not sure why these have the prefix of Dora, but we certainly did some exploring of our reasons for doing such ridiculousness in the gloom of the morn!
Round 2: Killer B’s modified! 30 yards of bear craw, followed by 30 yards of broad jump followed by 2 burps(there were light poles, otherwise we wouldn’t have enough sense to know how far we crawled and jumped). Upon each new light pole(all of these were up a hill by the way!) we added 2 burps(2,4,6,8,10) all the way through 5 poles! I think I understand the name meaning now…
Round 3: Relay Jerry Rices! Picked the steepest and longest hill at Sequoyah High(not sure why we haven’t named this hill yet..) split into 3 groups of 7, and sprinted up the hill and back down. Each person went atleast once up and down the hill for a killer ending! I really hope all this translates to bd-the league performance!
Somehow this all came together in a nice compacted 45 minutes. Even though the Q was completely clueless, we all managed to leave feeling truly beatdown, and better men for it.
My Need For Speed has been satisfied(at least until this weekend). Lets Get it!
