Alright, this one’s dedicated to Navy SEAL Lt. Michael P. Murphy’s teammate, Petty Officer 2nd Class Danny Dietz. Dietz was a warrior through and through, part of Operation Red Wings, and this workout, “Dietz’s Determination”, will push you to tap into that same relentless spirit.
Hero WOD: “Dietz’s Determination”
5 rounds for time. Pace yourself – but never back off.
Each Round:
1. 200m run
2. 25 Burpees
3. 25 Box Jumps (modification: broad jumps)
4. 50 Lunges (25 each leg)
5. 25 Sit-ups
Final Push:
Once all five rounds are done, you’ll end with one final 400m sprint. This is where you leave everything on the line. Danny Dietz didn’t quit when things got tough – neither will you.
Time Goal: Under 40 minutes is solid. Under 30, you’re in elite company.
