This Saturday was different than most as it included the first Mace 3rd F Breakfast. It was a fun filled Saturday that kicked off with a 6 mile Pre Run, followed by an hour long beatdown. Then concluded with a wonderful 3rd F breakfast with a talk from an F3 Cherokee OG and the Mace’s own Bloodhound.

WARMUP: The “real men” did a 6 mile pre run… For the ME we started with a mosey around the short loop then over to BHs truck to get our Q-pons consisting of 3 sandbags and railroad spikes for each PAX. We then circled up for the Pella usual warm up; SSHs, Weed Pickers, Windmills, Imperial Walkers and Son Gods OYO.
Hopper must have snorted something b/c he was in rare form…. Flower was on her best behavior and didn’t bark once. CG and LC did what teenagers usually do when asked to do something. And the rest of the PAX somewhat followed along.

THE THANG: Circuit Sucky
In 3 groups, we split up to rotate through 3 stations.

Station 1: 11s; with their railroad spikes, PAX would do 1 big boy sit-up, bear crawl to the top of a hill and do 11 Merkins. Go back down the hill and 2 big boy sit-ups, bear crawl up the hill and do 9 Merkins, and so on and so forth until they did 10 big boys at the bottom and 1 Merkin at the top. At which point they’d call time for each group to switch to the next station.

Station 2: sandbag evolutions; in pairs one PAX did an evolution on the sandbag while the other ran a lap with their railroad spikes around the short loop, then switched off. The evolutions were a bear crawl drag, lunge walk, and thrust toss. This was done until time was called.

Station 3: catch me if you can; in pairs w/ railroad spikes one pax would run backwards while the other did 3 burpees then ran and caught up with their other partner where they would switch off. This was done around the large loop until it was time to switch.

As best I can tell each PAX followed instructions to the letter. I have no clue what the mumble chatter was like in the other group, but ours consisted of topics including Leslie’s titties, and Bacon or Burpees… Weird, I know…

MARY: Started off with Flutter Kicks, then Crunchy Frogs and finally Big Boy Sit-ups.
