WARMUP: Some pre ran. When our fonder didn’t show, Pella stepped up to lead. B/c that’s what leaders do! The PAX moseyed to the football field expecting me to jump out from my hiding spot to scare them all. But to no avail… I was still snug in my bed. So, Pella being the awesome leader he is, led them in a warmup of SSHs, Weed Pickers, Windmills, Imperial Walkers, and Sun Gods.

THE THANG: Pella’s Awesome Improvised BD

When I still hadn’t shown up after the warmup, Pella had the PAX do burpeecides. They sucked far worse than what I had planned. I can’t blame the PAX for being disappointed in me.

After the burpeecides, everyone was sure I’d show up. But at this point it was too late. I contemplated just staying in bed, but decided to go for the COT. Thank goodness Pella had more tricks up his sleeve. The next movement in his awesome BD was a Dora w/ 100 big boy sit-ups, 200 Merkins, and 300 lunges, with a lap around the track.

At this point speculation around my absence was running wild. Misty was afraid I’d run off a cliff on the way there. RS was afraid I had died in my sleep. Pella knew this was a Jedi mind trick, an F3 leadership tactic to see who would step up. And boy did Pella step up big time!Dory, distraught with worry, decided to text me to ensure I was ok. I decided to let him know I’d taken a page out of MKs book and forgotten to save my alarm. Ha!! The fools actually bought it too! Ha ha ha! Bwahahahaha! Bwahahahahahahaha!

With a few minutes to spare Pella led the PAX back to the flag for MARY, but not before coming to shower me in admiration and praise for showing up for the COT with coffee.
