Started the BD with a very short mosey. YHC was very anxious to get into the Thang so the warm-o-rama was short at sweet. We had Backdraft back at the Catbox so mumblechatter was real from the get go.

WOR

  • SSH
  • Weed picker
  • Sun Gods (OYO)
  • Michael Phelps

We then moseyed back to the pavilion to start the Thang.

The Thang

  1. Catbox Relay

PAX was divided up into 2 teams. Each member had to complete the relay.

Run down the hill to the monkey bars to complete 10 pull ups.

Run to cone in grass field to complete 20 squats.

Run back to the swings for 20 Derkins.

Run back to the pavilion – next pax then moved onto the course.

As the PAX waited they competed a series of exercises (rinse & repeat):

  • 20 BBS
  • 20 Lunges
  • 20 LBS
  • 20 Merkins
  • 20 American Hammers

Once this was completed, the team that won the race had 3 blind options to choose from for a punishment for losing team. Options: Deck of Cards, or two other exercises written on cards inside envelops.

Choice was:

Losing Team – 60 squats – everytime you stop: 5 pull ups, 10 Merkins

Winning Team – 5 rounds: 2 pull ups, 5 merkins, 10 swats

Once losing team completed, we then moseyed to the beach volleyball pits.

  1. Sand Relay

Each team selected 5 PAX on their team to complete this relay.

This started by running to the middle of the first pit and complete 5 burpees.

Then broad jump to the second pit and complete 20 plank jacks.

Then broad jump to the third pit and complete 20 hand release merkins.

Then run back to the starting line.

As the PAX waited they competed a series of exercises (rinse & repeat):

  • 20 Squats
  • Alphabet
  • 10 Mike Tysons
  • 10 Bobby Hurleys

Once this was completed, the team that won the race had 3 blind options to choose from for a punishment for losing team. Options: Deck of Cards, or two other exercises written on cards inside envelops.

Choice was:

Losing Team – run 1 lap (400 m) – 20 merkins, 20 squats, 20 BBS

Winning Team – 20 merkins, 20 squats, 20 BBS

This would have said “Once losing team completed,” some PAX went MIA. QIC decided to mosey to the site of the 3rd relay. We found the MIA PAX.

  1. Basketball Court/hill Relay

In the interest of ending on time, QIC made this a 2 PAX from each team race. But, the two PAX competing did not run in the volleyball pit relay.

This started by bear crawling up the hill and complete 20 wide merkins.

Then lung walk to the space between the two courts and complete 20 hillbillies.

Then lung walk to the furtherest side line and complete 10 foxholes.

Then run back to the starting line.

As the PAX waited they competed a series of exercises (rinse & repeat):

  • If a car passes – stop everything and 10 monkey humpers
  • 10 Imperial Squat Walkers
  • 20 Flutter Kicks
  • 20 Box Cutters
  • 20 Plank Jacks

Once this was completed, the team that won the race had 3 blind options to choose from for a punishment for losing team. Options: Deck of Cards, or two other exercises written on cards inside envelops.

Choice was:

Losing Team – 100 BBS every time you stop: 10 merkins, 15 squats

Winning Team – 5 rounds – 10 BBS, 5 merkins, 5 squats

Ending this in time to mosey back to the pavilion for COT, the punishment workout was cut short by the QIC.

Once back at the pavilion we circled up for 2 minutes of Mary until stopex.

Cookies & Cream had 6th man – discussing how he has passed his written test to join Marietta fire and that he is looking forward to the physical test.
