So, what happened was….the box deserved better than what it got from yhc
I create my beatdowns in ‘notes’ on the iphone, then text them to myself so i can just use that as a winkie. This also helps each time that I Q, I can just pick and choose from old ones, modify as necessary, etc. and can plan a Q in a few minutes. I did that friday night, but when i texted it to myself, i texted the wrong one.
Anyway, 1/3 of the way through the beatdown, i realized my error and the stuff on the text didn’t match block work we were doing. so, i went off memory and it was a mess. i deserve all the flack from the confusion, especially after dishing it out for so long to others
all the things i don’t like doing, we did early on to get them out of the way
bear crawls and burpees
we then did sprints with merkins
we then did block work…partner style, cumulative count. this is where it got really messy. some of us did curls, some overhead presses, some bench presses, some big boys, some flutters….what a mess. the other partner ran backwards up the hill and did burpees.
we then did 11’s to finish it out.
it was great weather and a good group of guys. some new faces at the box were nice to see.
