This morning had it’s challenges. I was already running late when I went out to my car and it wouldn’t start. So had to make a quick transition to my 2.0’s vehicle and was able to get to our pre-run about 10 minutes late. I was not able to find Gut Check and Butterfly until the very end. But before I did, I placed my weinke where we were going to work out.
We moseyed up to the parking lot just south of the Middle School, where we did the usual suspects – Side Straddle Hops, Weed Pickers, Imperial Walks and Windmills. Then we moseyed over to the bottom of the hill that leads to the front of the Middle School.
We paired up. However, our partner was merely used as a timer for the exercises. While one PAX was doing the exercises, the other Bernie Sanders up the hill, at the top, we did 20 Gas Pumps, then a mosey down the hill. At the bottom of the hill, there were a number of exercises to choose from. Some of us mixed these up to help prevent maxing out on any one exercise. Here is a list of the exercises:
100 American Hammers (4 count). It seemed fine when I wrote it out. It sucked doing this! Next time, I might go with 2 count.
80 E2K’s (Elbow to Knee) switching every 10 reps.
60 Flutter Kicks (2 counts)
40 Heels to Heaven
30 Rocky Balboa’s (2 count) – This is done using the curb. Using your feet to touch the curb.
10 Nipple Scraping Merkins (Inclined Merkins).
Boy! My arms are getting tired again from typing this out.
Then we moseyed back to the flag and did our COT.
Lizard King was the 6 man and helped us to know that he was around before the internet and helped to invent it along with Al Gore. He also asked for prayers for his M who is having surgery soon.
We also prayed for our F3 brothers who are struggling with Covid and navigating through this thing called life.
