This beatdown started with a warm-up, featuring some spooky-named & some new named exercises. We did Thriller Jacks (Side straddle hop one arm at a time), Grave Diggers (Weed pickers), Walking Deads (Imperial walkers), Mummy Kicks, and Michael Myers (Michael Phelps).
We then started the Bring Sally Up Merkin Challenge. Pax were encouraged to modify as needed, but most did full Merkins with low plank hold. When failure was experienced, pax had to switch to squats and complete the song.
Jump In The Line Burpee Challenge – Pax had to perform a burpee with each mention of the words “jump” or “Senora” during the song. A total of 39 burpees were completed during the 3:30 min song.
Leap Plank Frog – Pax partnered up, and while one partner held a high plank, the other performed 6 Jump Squats, 6 Alternating Single Leg Raise Toe-Touches, and 6 Alternating Romanian Deadlifts (RDLs). Once the work was complete, the second partner would take position ahead of the plank partner to hold their plank,
effectively leap frogging.
The last 5 mins of the workout was a light jog around the parking lot.
