When I signed up for this Q the Dawgs were ranked number 3. Had I known they’d be in the Championship game I may have signed up for the Thursday BD. Either way it’s always an honor to lead the men of the Den.

Warm-o-rama: Quick lap followed by some SSH, Weed Pickers, Merkins, Imperial Walkers, Sun Gods, and wrist shakers. Ready to take the field.

The Thing:

In 27 degree weather we needed to get the blood pumping. So, to celebrate the Dawgs big win we started with 1st and 10’s. Using the bus lanes we started at Lane 1 and executed 10 Merkins / 1 Burpee. We then ran to Lane 10 and back to Lane 2 where we executed 9 Merkins / 2 Burpees. Then run to Lane 10 then back to Lane 3 for 8 Merkins / 3 Burpees. Keep going until we finished at Lane 10 with 1 Merkin / 10 Burpees. Brutal.

Next we formed a circle and executed the Bucket of Death. Each pax grabs a block from the bucket and places it on the ground at his spot. Each block has an exercise written on it. One Pax runs a lap (1:00) while everyone else does the exercise they chose from the bucket. When the runner returns we all rotate one spot to execute that spot’s exercise while the next runner does his lap. After 20 minutes we have completed a full body beatdown.

With some time left on the clock we partnered up to execute 100 combined Big Boy Sit-ups. One pax runs to bus Lane 20 while the other does sit-ups.

The Bucket of Death makes for an easy Q, but more importantly it allows for plenty of chatter among bros.

COT: Prayers for strength and guidance to face our battles. Love and Compassion for those in need.
