Today was great! all the 2.0s got to meet each other and started forming those awkward kid friendships right away. My kid realized she already knew Copper’s so that helped there…

Farm Country called mosey and we headed to the turf where Yoshi lead the charge. Warm O Rama was killer having a 7yo calling the shots.

The Thang:

First up was supposed to be an X Circuit but the adults couldn’t follow directions so it ended up being an O Circuit.

Basic premise: Split into 6 groups, one on each cone. Perform exercises listed on the cone and travel by either bear crawl or crab walk to the next cone. Cones increased in reps from 25-50 reps of various exercises.

Second up Farm Country divided PAX into 3 teams for a 40yd relay race. one by one we alternated kid, adult, kid, etc. Kids mode of travel was a sprint, adult was a side shuffle with band around the knees. While waiting for your turn you performed monkey bumpers or flutters Team 3 was by far the most superior team and we dominated each and every round.

Third up Tug of war. Kids v Kids, Adults v Adults. no more needed, Team 3 dominated all but 1 round of this as well. we were on fire

Fourth somewhat of an adorable version of Red Rover. PAX all lined up on the sideline and travel to the other side. easy. Adults mode of travel was hands on hip skipping, kids bear crawled. at any given point I could yell freeze and then either DOWN or UP. Down was 5 merkins, Up was 5 SSH.

Today was lots of fun with all the 2.0s getting to experience what we do each week. my kids were very thankful they got the opportunity. This will happen again. Guaranteed and it will be just as awesome. One note from today: Picanha is being renamed Frango Bêbado after his incredible performance in the relay race.
