This beatdown started with a warm-up (side straddle hop, imperial walkers, weed pickers, michael phelps, arm circles).
We jogged over to the stone pile in front of the gym to demonstrate the Turkish Get-Up, then split into teams of 2. The 1’s would leave the 2’s behind and run from the lower parking lot up to the stone pile to perform 3 kodiak count Turkish Get-Ups, then run back to meet their partner to do 10 merkins at each switch. While partner 1 was working, partner 2 performed 10 bear crawl steps and 10 broad jumps starting at one light pole down to the last light pole (4 light down), then return until tagged by their partner.
We finished with a tabata of merkins, which is as many merkins in 20 seconds, followed by 10 seconds of rest, repeated for 8 rounds (total of 4 mins).
Music was played, although it was difficult to hear over the wails and cries of sorrow! lol
