Junior studs Peabody, RingPop and ChickenFight were with us.
Prequel: YHC was loading his car with 2 rucks and a sandbag and had plenty of time. The dry erase board weinke was placed on the top of the car so that it wouldn’t get wiped off by all of the packing. After driving for 6 minutes toward the main road, YHC remembered the weinke and mentally pictured it lifting off and flipping over and over to the ground. YHC did NOT really have time to go get it but did as it would helpful and it would be smashed if in the road upon his return. It would cost him 12 min to go back and find it. Weinke found. Gas pedal floored.
Intro: RS is new and YHC wanted to continue to explore the AO and test out some ideas. Also, we have many new PAX and wanted to introduce them to at least the concept of rucking 😉 All PAX were asked to bring coupons of rucks, weight plates and sandbags if possible.
Warm-o-rama: Biebs was notified of YHC’s pending tardiness and led the PAX in a quick mosey for warm up. YHC made it in time for their return and picked up the Q. Thanks @Biebs! F3 Principles and Disclaimer delivered, warm up stretches ensued.
The Thang: All PAX were instructed to grab as many “coupons” as possible and we ruck shuffled/walked down the street to the YET TO BE NAMED (YTBN) Hill. At the base of YTBN Hill, PAX were divided into self-proclaimed runners and the “not a runner”s and paired up with one of each. PAX were instructed to run up YTBN Hill as fast as possible, starting with their partner. The “runner” partner would most likely reach the top first and then turn and run back down to meet his partner still on his way up. At their meeting, they were to jointly, not cumulatively, do the exercises and reps below. Upon completion, they’d mosey back down together and at the base repeat the same exercise and reps a second time. Rinse and repeat back up the hill with the next exercise. The caveat was that they had to transport ONE per team of the coupons up and back down the hill, alternating between them on the carry and they could never carry the same coupon twice.

All coupons were collected, 6s were picked up and made it back just after Endex.

Naked Man Moleskin: YTBN Hill is MUCH longer on foot than in the car. This ended up being all about cardio intervals. The exercises were actually “rest”. The PAX made it through most of the BOMBS and time was called to hurry back. Working in a narrow space up and down was great for encouragement. 3 more FNGs is A-W-E-S-O-M-E!!!! Reach out to your friends or your friends wives. Pick up the trash and let’s remember to turn off the lights!!! Progress men. Only 472 more homes to go!
