With a slow stretch and a quick warmorama it was off to class for parenting 101. What do you learn in parenting 101 you ask? Well first it start with a man & a wife. I’m not going to go into who was the man and who was the woman in each relationship but all the pax paired off. Each couple started at Island #1 which was the beginning of life and we traveled to island #2 across the parking lot to year 1 of life. The travel consisted of working together doing separate tasks but moving as one. One partner bear crawled and the other crab walked. Pairs could switch off whenever they wanted but each person had to be doing one or the other. Since all young parents are stupid we decided to count reps like moms count the babys time on earth. In weeks. So Island #1 = 52 reps of a movement. Movements were counted in single reps and the partners had to combine their reps to the total number. This continued from Island to Island with each couple trying to get as far along in their child’s life as time would allow. It was tough, it was repetitive, and in some moments down right annoying. Once we got to year 4 the mode of transportation changed to lunges and broad jumps. This time the best parents made it to year 8. We’ll see if we can do better next time.
Year 1 – 52 Burpees
Year 2 – 104 Bonnie Blares
Year 3 – 156 Big Boys
Year 4 – 208 Merkins
Year 5 – 260 Squats
Year 6 – 312 OH claps
Year 7 – 364 LBCs
Year 8 – 416 Plank Shoulder taps
Year 9 – 17 – I guess you’ll find out next time. Maybe????
Wrapped up for a quick COT in the cold. Praise for Canoes children making it into town safely.
