The Program – Show up with no assigned Q and figure it out. We will do this on every second Saturday of the month. On this morning, Cookies and Cream took the lead.
Warmorama (led by Cookies) – One lap around track. Weed Pickers; SSH’s; Copperhead Merkins; Copperhead Squats.
First Q (Cookies): 5 burpees, bear crawl up side walk toward pavilion. Stop at tree and perform 10 flutter kicks (2x). Bear crawl to pavilion. 15 squats. Run back down hill. Rinse and repeat for 3 total sets. Mary on the six.
Second Q (Pie Bar): Head to the cat box. Perform 9’s with pull-ups and merkins. After each set run across field to sidewalk and do 10 BBS’s. Mary on the six.
Third Q (Callahan): Mosey to Pavilion for “Champion Rounds.” Perform prescribed number of each exercise. All PAX stop when first PAX , or “Champion,” reaches the number, then run one lap. Sets: 75 Merkins (champion: Rugburn); 80 Dips (champion: Backdraft); 55 BBS (champion: Pie Bar); 25 Burpees (champion: Fleetwood). 4 sets of exercises and laps, total.
COT: Road Runner, Pop Up’s 2.0 (who is not in system so not listed above), was six man. He talked with Fleetwood about gutting out the bear crawls with no gloves. Prayers were said.
Highlights: Cookies breaking into a flat out sprint during the mosey lap; Backdraft falling and sliding down the pavilion hill, then doing it on purpose 3 times after that; Road Runner beating everyone on the last lap; everyone designating Fleetwood as the burpee champion before we even started the set, then doing 10 burpees and watching him do 25 (ha ha); the wet, cold suck. Seriously though, this was a great debut for the Randorama concept. YHC believes it’s here to stay.
