It is my great honor to post my first backblast…although this has been a long time coming having attended my first beatdown 3 years ago and then disappearing until 6 months ago. Shout out to the 10 HIMS who showed up and cut me a lot of slack on my VQ.

Pt 1: 7 of diamonds
Run to each corner of the field and complete the following exercises. Once you performed the exercise in each corner move to the next exercise.
– 7 Burpees
– 14 Big Boy Sit Ups
– 21 Merkins
– 28 Squats
Mary until the 6 came in
Pt 2 JackAss Merkins:
1 Merkin straight into 3 donkey kicks. Increase by 1 merkin and 3 donkey kicks until 10×30.
Dips + some Mary
Indian Run with 1 burpee back to the flag
Circle of Trust:
No specific prayer requests, but lifted up any unspoken prayers and prayed for a safe upcoming week for everyone and their families.
It was a pleasure leading this group of legendary HIMs for the first time. I was a little nervous and missed a few details at the start (which Bloodhound didn’t fail to point out). Also realized I didn’t know much about calling out the correct cadence.
Everyone seemed to enjoy the Donkey Kicks and were disappointed when they were over.
There are people who change the game just by showing up….like Dugger with his creative modifications and attempts to takeover the Q.
Bloodhound has a 2.0 kickball event coming up this Saturday.
Rest Stop is seriously considering joining the Spartan Ultra in June and said he just needs a little more persuasion.
