With the PAX all huddled in their cars watching the rain come down and waiting for any sign of lightning to have any justifiable excuse to audible and move the 1st F to a 2nd F at WaHo, the clock eventually struck 5:30 and we got to it.
Moseyed down to the football field that the leaugers had generously abandoned and circled up for warm-o-rama.
I’m sure there was some combination of weed pickers, imperial walkers, sun gods (not in cadence) and michael phelps.
Next, explained tha thang. With the upcoming opening day, we were going to play some BASEBALL…on a football field that is. Starting in the center of the field PAX could choose to run out to 1 of 8 points around the football field, perform a specific exercise, return to the middle and then head out to a different point to perform the next exercise.
Exercises were performed in order, 20 reps each: Burpees, Apollo OhNos! (just for Rest Stop), Squats, E2Ks, Big Boi Sit Ups, Alternating Shoulder Taps, Lunges and LBCs. Despite FMB’s insistence, there was no 3rd L exercise?!
Complete round 1, pick up the 6 and return to the center for a bear crawl ring of fire. 2nd round was the same, but increased reps to 30. Pick up the 6 upon completion and return to the center for that thing where everyone lays on their back in a circle with feet facing out and raised up in the air while PAX take turns going around the circle throwing them down.
There may or may not have been a 3rd round, which I can’t remember. At some point I do remember going back to the flag, doing a few more exercises and then wrapping up to go enjoy some coffeeteria at the RaceTrac.
Lots of good mumblechatter and tons of fun had by all!
