Dude, it was awesome.

The Summer Surfin’ Safari beat down left us stoked for the day!

We moseyed and all that, then did Knuckle-draggers across the field and back. The did Super Tubes, which is a Superman, then popping up to your feet, and then 10 overhead presses all X 50 and then Knuckle-draggers across the field again. All the while, rad Hustler was explaining things about surfing. No way!

Way.

Then on to a mini-murph to honor Lt. Michael Murphy as well as Sean Murphy to whom Hustler sold — yes, you guessed it — a surfboard to for a Sid Vicious cassette tape and $10 cash in eighth grade. Bargain. 50 pull ups, 100 merks and 150 squats, then a run.

The final event was wind sprints, with the PAX in two groups, and the first jogging halfway of a 100 yard dash, and then sprinting to the end with the other group trying to catch them once the first group reached midway. Than flapjack, and it was time.

That lovely word: Time!

We prayed for Chuck to find a sweet babe, Boondock’s babe, Blarney schooling + career, Landing Strip’s world and Blowpop’s new rad gig and hot waves.

…everything to gnarly surf tunes.
