YHC, “Yukon Hairy Cornelius” was excited to return to Cherokee for a reunion Q at RS. While mumblechatter was disappointing in the 1300 person channel, the RS guys put up some solid HCs, and NOGA packed a few clown cars. Pre run for a few of us, then we rolled up to the parking lot to a few more bodies, and watched a few more roll in – none of which were Scamper ☹.

Mosey to a different parking lot, quick FOOPCOT and disclaim-o. Seal claps IC, Weedpickers IC (recover if desired), and a few sun gods. “No Benches” nearby, but we grabbed the curb for some nipple-scraper merkins in honor of Straight Jacket’s newest gear.

Merkins to failure – pound out merkins until you can’t do anymore – if you had to rest more than 3 seconds at top or bottom, you were done. Followed by 1 minute of burpees for time. Headed to the tennis courts as Smoke Ring yelled “Let there be light”. Split into two groups, and then played some high-card draw. Sukinon was suggested, but not enforced. 1 person bet a number between 1 and 21. If they were correct, they did that number of merkins. If they were incorrect, the did the balance of that number from 21 in burpees. Balance of reps per game was to equal 21. Partner did opposite exercise to complete the rep. Ex: YHC bet 10 on the first draw.  YHC drew low card, so YHC had to do 11 burpees. Partner did 10 merkins. Partners could change after reps to keep a continuous flow.

After about 10 minutes, we switched to squats/air chair – partner held air chair while bettor completed their squats.

Next – vicious circle. Chubbs called BBS, so all other PAX lined up and ran while first PAX did 10 BBS. Next PAX did 10 BBS and so on, until all PAX had done their reps. Switched to Flutter Kicks while PAX bear crawled, sped through for time and headed back to the flag for the merkin wave / ring of fire.

Great guys at Radio Silence. Injuries and sickness didn’t keep them sidelined. Nice to see so many post in the garbage weather. EH, my dudes.

Yukon out.
