*WOR*
We hit the ground running rucking. The PAX rucked up and back down the amphitheater steps to shake off the rust before circling up for a good ol’ fashioned F3 warm up:
• 15 Imperial Walkers (IC)
• 10 Hillbilly Walkers (IC)
• 10 Copperhead Squats (IC)
• 10 Copperhead Merkins (IC)
• Sun Gods (OYO)
• Michael Phelps (OYO)

Then, back to the amphitheater steps for round two before grabbing the sandbags.

*Speed Ruck Mayhem*
The plan: two single-file lines, heaviest sandbag in front, progressively lighter bags towards the back. The execution: well, let’s just say it took a minute for the PAX to grasp YHC’s foggy instructions. But iron sharpens iron, and after some good ol’ fashioned trial by fire, we got it rolling. The front man set the pace—ten steps, pass to the side, rotate to the back. Took a while, but halfway through, the machine was running smooth.

Returned to the flag and planked in honor of Duster, who was otherwise engaged in a battle of his own.

*The Thang*
Each man grabbed his sandbag, and we rucked to Elm Street Event Green for a double Ring of Fire:
1. Plank & Merkins – One by one, each PAX knocked out merkins while the rest held plank.
2. Overhead Presses – Same deal, except with rucks overhead.

The PAX needed a lesson in efficiency, so 10 ruck-off burpees were in order.

Next, we rucked down the Greenway to the dog park. Along the way, we were unintentionally enlightened about Exile’s pre-race routine and discovered that Jar Jar moonlights as a rapper.

At the dog park, another Ring of Fire:
• Ruck overhead 6 inches with flutter kicks

Some mumblechatter ensued over proper counting methods—single count, four-count, or “whatever feels right” (spoiler: that’s wrong). In the end, if you’re not doing a single count and you’re not doing four count, then you’re doing one each side. Thanks for the lesson and conciseness, PAX!

Rucked back to the flag with YHC putting Mouth-2-Mouth at the front to set the pace, much to the dismay of the PAX. Despite his valiant effort, we still came in a couple minutes late.

*COT*
• Count-O-Rama
• Name-O-Rama
• 6th Man
• Announcements
• Prayer Requests
• Prayers Lifted

Lessons Learned:
• YHC needs to tighten up instructions.
• Ring of Fire group size ratio to rep counts needs improvement.
• Time management—must do better.

Final Notes: Coffee was consumed. Muscles were shredded. Lessons were learned. The work was done. Iron sharpens iron, and today, we left sharper.

SYITG,
YHC
