WARMUP: Typical warm-up; brief history lesson of today’s 54th anniversary of Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin being the first men to walk on the moon. I assume its okay to still say “men”.
THE THANG: Paper, Rock Scissors to determine teams; Americans vs Russians.

COMP #1 – BASIC TRAINING
Each PAX must bear crawl the length of the football field, dragging sandbag. Non-bear crawling Pax did the following:
100 SSHs at the end zone, after running length of Field; Run backward to other endzone.
75 MTN Climbers at 25 yd line; run back
50 LBCs at midfield; run back
25 Merkins at 25 yd line; run back
* 1st team to have all team members finish the bear crawls, wins

COMP #2 – APOLLO 11’s
Race to the Pickle Ball Parking Lot; stopping for 11’s at every light pole. One Pax to be carrying sandbag at all times; non bag pax did 10 merkins/1 BBs; 9/2, 8/3 of these at each light pole. Team had to finish together.

COMP #3 – MOON ORBIT
7 Curls, 7 OH Press & 7 Squats w/ Bag and then run loop. When back, the next Pax picked up the bag and did 6, 6, & 6..all the way to 1. Non bag pax did 7 Merkins, 7 BBS & 7 Squats.

COMP #4 – SHUTTLE FLIGHT HOME
Each team had to get back to the 50 yard line, together, which every route they would like. Both team took off the same, treacherous route, down a briar filled hill, over the muddy plains then all hell broke broke loose!

YHC looked back at the American’s were attacking the Russians. There was screaming and Dog’s getting into the action, Bloodhound about took off Leaky’s arms, Hombre was dragging George across the asphalt parking lot, Lara Croft and Homeboy were dropping atomic elbows on the Leaky trying to get their sandbag back. Bo got excited and was taking it out on Hombre :). Order was restored when Harp and Aisle 7 got back to the Royal Rumble, with the Americans sneaking away….

* The American’s all received Moon Pie’s for their place in history!
