Short mosey as YHC and several others- mansplain, the count, P-body, did 2+ miles as a STANDARD @ 8:20 per mile pace, prior to set up for the BD. Warm up and get to it.
Format- AMRAP for 45 min. We modified to 40 min. as all were well over the 1k rep goal. (hustlers count)
25 yd, square- start at cone 1- Bearcrawl to cone 2- do 25 air squats. then side BC left or right to cone 3 – do 25 merkins, crawl bear/ BC backwards to cone 4- do 25 big boy sit ups, BC left or right/ opposite side of previous side BC, to cone 1- do 25 burpees. Each completed trip is 100 reps. 8 or 9 trips was plenty and 5 more minutes was unnecessary.
Based on the quantity of sweat stains and droplets strewn about the tennis courts, it was a legit BD.
Motivating to think of all the other PAX members out there in the Gloom doing the same work. Possibly using the same terms of endearment for the love of the activities performed.
