WARMUP:
PR: FMB, Rest Stop, Pella and to all of their surprise, Leaky did a 5.5 miler.

ME: Mosey to the football field then the usual Pella warm up ritual: SSHs, Weed Pickers, Windmills, Good Mornings, Sun Gods OYO

THE THANG: The name of the game is Ultimate Frisbee. The rules are simple, in 2 teams, PAX will run down the sideline from one end of field to the other and do an exercise then run back and wait on the 6. Then go back down and do the next exercise and so on and so forth.The exercises were:

Flutter kicks 10 (Kodiak)
Ranger merkins 20
Imperial Walkers 30 (Kodiak)
Squats 40
Big Boy Sit-ups 50
Everests 6 rounds
E2Ks 70

The caveat was that each team represented a team on the League. When a team on the League scored, the opposing THL team did 3 burpees. Each team also took turns carrying a sandbag switching off at each score.

Now comes the fun part. Each THL team heckled the opposing League team trying to get a response. If they did, the opposing THL team did a burpee. Don’t try rereading it as it won’t be any less confusing…

As with most “fun” Pella Qs, this started out as a Cluster F$ck… What seemed great on paper and had so much promise turned into a boondoggle… But after each team got the hang of it the heckling that ensued was priceless. Lively and Westside played their part to a T responding each time. In fact, Lively spent more time yelling at THL than he did playing in his game.

Between all the heckling of the League, Rest Stop lolly gaggling, Baby Face taking over the Q from Pellatan and the mumble chatter in between, the BD turned into a fun mix of stupidity, laughter and some exercises.

We finished with a Dora where half the PAX didn’t even keep count…
