Quick mosey and ended up in the middle of the field. SSH, weedpickers, windmills, Michael Phelps, and sun gods kept us busy while I figured out how to connect my phone to my speaker. Jackalope HC’d and promised some terrible music, so I was unprepared.
Main chunk of the workout was designed to be 1000 Reps Before Breakfast.
5 – Incline Merkins, 10 – Dips, 15 – Squats, 20 – LBCs. This would count as 1 round. We did 5 rounds and then ran the 1/3 mile lap around the track. We completed 10 rounds (500 Reps) before I got bored and called an audible.
We ran an indian run to behind the tennis courts and everyone picked up a coupon. We headed to a tennis court for some 4 corners work. We performed 7 Curls in each corner, with a block rifle carry in between corners. Then 14 squats in each corner, mosey between. 21 single count flutter kicks in each corner, then ended with a pretty brutal 28 overhead press in each corner. Returned coupons and moseyed back to our tables.
We then completed the remaining 10 rounds (500 reps) with the lap after each set of 5. We ended almost exactly on time back at the exercise pad.
Great work by all, it was a bit of a feat to finish the 1000 reps the way the morning went. Big shout out to Green Thumb for joining us from Raleigh!
The mumblechatter was dominated by the fact that we were all missing Jackalope, who made the mistake of HC’ing in the channel. The overall consensus is that we missed hanging with Jackalope, but no one missed his playlist which was sure to include a ton of Paula Abdul!
Thankful to have Pinocchio back from his deployment, prayers for a safe roadtrip for Chevy, positive thoughts for Pig Knuckle’s upcoming VQ, and prayers for Lizard King’s M with her health and procedure.
