YHC picked up the Q yesterday and immediately knew I wanted to push the mileage as much as possible. Came up with a fun BD that was a part 2 to my NASCAR themed Q a few weeks back. This time we went the Formula One route and explored some “exotic” locales across the River Ridge Campus.

Warm-o-rama:

Quick to the point — the usual suspects but we had to get moving to make up the milage

The Thang:

Part 1 – Dora Partner Work

We partnered up and a 3 preset locations across campus did the following exercises on the first “lap”:

  • 50 Burpees
  • 50 Merkins
  • 50 We’re Not Worthys (w/ coupon)

After completing the first lap where–much like in F1–you have to work together with your teammate, we cranked up the competitive nature a bit. Nesquick was the first one to answer my trivia question and figured out the significance of why we did those specific exercises — spelled out BMW. He got to be the “pace car” for the next segment.

Part 2: Catch Me If You Can / Roll the Dice

While first person sets the pace all PAX must stay behind them. As they approach the upcoming station they yell out “GO” and get a 3 second head start as other PAX try to catch them. Winning PAX gets a die and calls an exercise. Based on the roll we all did 5-30 reps of the exercise called. Rinse repeat until time.

Bonus points to Lizard King who got Go Daddy to say GO before he was ready — well played. And props to Dig Em for not giving up as he was our only hope of catching Go Daddy and his keys. Overall fun morning and got between 2.5-3 miles depending on who’s watch you go off of.

COT

Great morning in the gloom and the rain held off until after coffeeteria. Prayers for wisdom for Dig Em and praise report for Go Daddy mom and MIL.
