The day before our weekly MorningWood and what’s this, an open Q spot? I’ll take it! What could be better than twin peaks? Three of course!
Warmup: 5+ miles for those that showed up for the prerun. Bigglesworth missed the original departure date, but still got in some solo miles anyway. Good on you!
The Thang: Skedaddle down to the intersection Grandmar and Ridgemoor and down into the bowl before heading up into the Grove. From there the instructions were given to go up the long, steady climb otherwise known as Curtis, back down and then up into the Grove, back down and up the short, steep hill we originally came down. Then rinse and repeat as many times as possible, leaving enough time to get back to the flag. The gazelles got through 2 full cycles and portions of a 3rd while picking up the various groups on each of the legs.
COT: Bring it in close, hands on the shoulder style instead of taking a knee. Prayers for those taking part in upcoming CSAUP events and for Harp’s upcoming surgery.
