Since next week is the super bowl, we decided to get some practice in. Maybe after giving it there all this week they might be less judgmental of the players next week.
We started of with a mozzy over to the rocks near the starting point. Here we began our-
- 10 SSHs
- 10 Copperhead Squats
- 10 Copperhead Merkins
- 10 Weed Pickers
Strength Training: We each picked up a rock and rifle carried it to the very end of the parking lot. Here, we did some overhead presses and goblet squats, then rifle carried all the way back. After that, we mozzeyed down to the football field.
Agility Training: We set-up a course of cones to sidestep between, then a little run to catch the ball. We repeated this drill for a while, then spread the cones out furthur and started running between them.
Throw Training: One person would throw the ball as far as they could and call out a workout. Whe ran to it wherever it landed and did however many of the workout depending on the yardage it got. The thrower had to do 50 minus the yardage of the called out workout.
The Game: We split into two teams and played some two hand touch football to round us out. It got pretty intense near the end with a long touchdown scored by Charmin. To keep from ending in a tie, we had to keep them from scoring a touchdown as well. Going for a long throw I almost got the interception but instead just knocked the ball to the ground jamming my finger. (It’s better now though)
With 5 minutes left, we mozzeyed back to the flag to start the- wait! WorTowne started the COT without us!
We had a second go of the name-a-rama once we got there, then we shared announcements, praises, and prayer requests. In all the confussion I don’t think there was a six-man so we balled it up and prayed it out.
