YHC tried something new today, a little engineering and use of the “double monster hills” at TLD allowed for the creation of Pendulum I!

Warmup:

Mosey, bunch-a-stuff: high knees, butt-kickers, side hops….  more Mosey, Circle Up!

SSH, Imperial Walkers, Sungods/Phelps, WEEDPICKERS!!!, Hip Spin Up (WTH?)

 The Thang:

6 rounds, traverse up/down and exercise on the double hills at TLD.  Blue, Yellow and Red cones placed at different “heights” on the hills.  PAX progress blue to blue to yellow to yellow to red to red, creating a “Pendulum” type motion.  Each Round had a different set of UP/DOWN/Exercise for the PAX to complete while traversing the hills. Complaints included: Bear Crawls, Shoulder Taps and Crawl Bears….Lunges down the hill and a personal favorite on any hill: Spin Burpees.  Mumblechatter was a perfect mix of encouragement, mockery and complaining.  Love it!  Made it through round 5 before time.  Will work to create a Pendulum II with improvements 😉 See the pic for all the deets!

Lots of thanksgiving and heartfelt prayer requests today.  Thankful that these PAX feel so comfortable bringing their prayers to Sky Q in the midst of the group.  There is much power there.
