Hey y’all, It’s Number2 here! I actually had most of this BB typed out, but then I accidentally deleted most of the text due to some unforeseen copy and paste errors. ‘Twas very sad, but I’m gonna try and write this out again.
Anyways, we first moseyed from the flag in the parking lot down to the roundabout. I thought it was necessary because there were some pretty Christmas lights to look at hanging of the trees there. Next, I took the Pax around the soccer field and back up through the playground to the parking lot. There, I did the introduction, and we started our little warmup.

THE THANG
The Hill
I basically came up with a circuit workout that incorporates several different exercises with different modes of transportation, all specified through a whiteboard which I had prepared before the BD. Essentially, all the Pax would start at the bottom of the hill in front of the soccer field. There were 5 sets that made up the circuit. Each set, the Pax would do a different MOT up the hill, and once at the top of the hill, do 15 reps of a different exercise. All the exercises and MOT’s are listed below for each set:
1. Monkey humpers, lunges
2. Burpees, bear crawl
3. American hammers, crab walk
4. Big boys, back pedal
5. Imperial walkers, sprint
After we complete the MOT and exercise for each set, we go up to the circular garden area by the pavilion. Then, we either do 20 merkins, 30 SSH, or 30 squats. Finally, we mosey back to the bottom of the hill and start the next set.
Little Merkin Boy
After we finished the Hill circuit 1 and a half times through, I called everyone back to the flag for our final game, “Little Merkin Boy.” I got this one straight from the Exicon, but it’s Christmas themed and very fun. Basically, I hook up my phone to a speaker and play “Little Drummer Boy” by Bing Crosby while the Pax and I maintain a plank position the whole time the song plays. However, there is another catch. Whenever Bing says “pa rum pum pum pum,” everyone must do a merkin. He says it about 30 times in the song, so that is how many merkins we ended up doing.
Closing Remarks
After Little Merkin Boy, the time was up, and I called everyone back to the flag for the Name-O-Rama, announcements, and prayer requests. Then, we ended in the circle of trust, and I mainly prayed for safe travels over the next couple of days while it was gonna be insanely cold. Georgia hasn’t seen some temps like 5-10 degrees F in 4 decades! Anyways, everyone headed to Waffle House to eat while I decided to be lame and go to sleep after the BD. But nonetheless, glad my 2nd Q was overall good. And yes, I will say “Starting Position Move” instead of just “Ready” when starting each new Warm-Up exercise next Q.🤣
