WarmUp: 0530 found Legionnaire fully laid out in the parking lot when we promptly took off at a pleasant pace to the front corner of the parking lot near the light. When questioned why I chose this location to circle up or to do activities – it is because it offers higher exposer to anyone driving by. SSHs plus a variety of stretches that were cause for some grumbling….
Part 1: 10 lanes are organized from the front corner to the back corner. Start with 10 merkins at first lane, run to the second lane and perform 10 merkins, run back to the first lane for 10 BBSUs, to the third lane for 10 Merkins, back to the first lane for 10 BBSUs and so on till you complete all 10 lanes and back to the first for the last 10 BBSUs and then pick up the six….
Part 2: Line up at the front corner in front of the curb and grass. Perform 10 broad jumps from the parking lot onto the grass. After each Broad Jump, return to pavement and repeat. Then perform 10 explosive Merkins with hands on the parking lot performing 1 Merkin there and then exploding hands up onto the curb for another Merkin. Once complete, 10 Kodiak count flutter kicks. Repeat all exercises for 5 rounds.
Part 3: Separate into two groups of 4. First group lines up for ~40 yard sprints. Second group follows up. Winner of first group goes against winner of 2nd group. Repeat again, and again, and again.
Then last one to the flag …. for a variety of Mary’s.
