Salty BB all week, but not this one. We had a two 2.0’s, one was an FNG we got to name Luigi which is his favorite video game character.
With 2.0’s, had to modify the BD just a bit. We did a slow mosey to the daycare parking lot on Holly Springs parkway for a few warm-up exercises, including 44 side straddle hops for my new upcoming age. For the thang we partnered up, 100 mekins, 200 LBC’s, 300 squats, and 400 double count american hammers. This one was fun, we got to pick up the 6 with Pharaoh and his son who was our FNG. Worth the price of admission to work out with them (damn Amber Alert charges to Q this thing, weird). Mosey’ed back to the train depot and blessed all who drove by Holly Springs Pkwy and Hickory road with 44 monkey humpers….ass to street of course. Headed back to the flag and did Mary on time.
Foosball musings…I have been doing this just over 2 years. Before F3 I had really done nothing with consistent exercise since playing soccer in high school. Needless to say I was terribly out of shape. To the point I could not run up a flight of stairs without being out of breath. I remember how I used to feel being the 6 man. I used to think people were bullshitting me when they were picking me up. I was a nuisance and they were just trying to be nice. But as I get stronger, my most favorite thing to do is pick up the six. To encourage that man who is putting all his effort down to complete the run or the exercise. NEVER be embarrassed being the six, YOU are the man we are most proud of. YOU are working hard to get better, and without this solid group of guys surrounding you, you would fail. Keep up the good work all.
