THE THANG: 45 MINUTES OF STATIONARY SUFFERING

The gloom was thick, the air was heavy, and the PAX showed up ready to work—except for one notable exception. Test Tube, the self-appointed spokesman for all things weak, decided today was the day to unleash his full arsenal of complaints.

Warm-O-Rama went as expected—bodies moving, hearts pumping, and Test Tube already flapping his gums about how “burpees are unnecessary” and “who actually does 25 SSHs to warm up?” Answer: MEN DO, TEST TUBE. MEN.

BLOCK 1: CHEST & SHOULDERS BURNOUT

PAX started cranking out Merkins and Makhtar N’Diayes like champions. Test Tube? He was out here doing what can only be described as a “modified struggle plank” shut up and work.

BLOCK 2: LEG DESTRUCTION

Things got spicy with 40 squats and 20 jump squats per round. Legs were on fire, but real men pushed through. Test Tube, on the other hand, started laying down extra complaints. Yeah? You know what is bad for your knees? BEING WEAK.

BLOCK 3: CORE CRUSHER

Big Boy Sit-ups and Flutter Kicks brought the pain, and most PAX embraced the suck like warriors. Test Tube? He was over there “adjusting his form” (read: laying down and hoping no one noticed). But don’t worry, we noticed.

BLOCK 4: CARDIO & CORE DEATHMATCH

Burpees and plank holds? A match made in hell. The PAX battled through, except for one lone voice in the darkness whining about “overtraining” and “balance.” Test Tube, the only balance you need is the kind that keeps you from falling over when you finally try to put in some work.

BLOCK 5: FULL-BODY SMOKE SESSION

At this point, real HIMs were drenched in sweat, digging deep, and pushing past their limits. Meanwhile, Test Tube was conducting a personal investigation into whether or not he “had a mild cramp.” Spoiler alert: He did not.

COT: LESSON OF THE DAY

Fellas, life is about showing up, shutting up, and doing the work. The strongest men out here today weren’t necessarily the fastest, but they gave everything they had. You don’t get stronger by making excuses—you get stronger by embracing the grind.

Test Tube, we love you, but if you spent as much energy working as you do talking, you’d be the fittest man in F3. Consider this your official invite to next week’s beatdown—where I expect less commentary and more push-ups.
