+2 lost boys – Ringpop and Chickenfight who worked out in bare feet this morning because he couldn’t find his shoes and YHC had no time to waste!

Warm-up

Mosy’d around to the entrance with the hill where we performed side straddle hops, copperhead merkins, copperhead squats, imperial walkers, weed pickers

Then we turned to the hill where we did a quick set of 11s with merkins at the bottom of the hill and flutter kicks at the top

The thang

After limbering up we mosy’d over to the pavilion where YHC explained “F3 softball” which he made up a whole 30 minutes before. It’s based on 4 corners it starts with a set of 3 burpees in the center of the field where the pitcher’s mound would be. Pax then move to home where they take a swing at 10 durkins on benches at the foot of the cross.  Bernie Sanders to first base where we performed 20 big boy situps. Bear crawl to second base where we did 30 dips. Sprint to 3rd where we did 40 squats. Each new “inning” we added 5 more to each exercise. Most got to 4 innings before we headed back to the flag.

We ended in a circle of trust where Ringpop was the 6th man.

Then we moved on to announcements where YHC announced the upcoming Theology on Tap for 5/9, hosted at the same time and location as our regular 2nd F, on the topic “Is social media spiritually sanctifying?” where he expects most will take the “no” position. YHC, however, will take the enthusiastic affirmative position.

Prayers were then offered to the Sky Q for Cannonball’s son who has developed a cough thought to be allergy related (but still hard to listen to as a loving parent) and Blowpop’s mother who suffers from chronic pain.
