Chicken Fried and Landingstrip were there for the start of our workout, but hit the Blankets Creek Trails for some running, just as Boondocks appeared from the woods and crashed the party. Always good to see Boonie.

The rest of us mosey’ed, gathered for the COT, then warmups, then picked out coupons from the rock pile. Edibles took the biggest and learned all about gravity this morning.

The Thang was a variation of BLIMPS due to the pesky presence of the coupons.

5 Man-makers then a run around the circuit; 10 Lunges with coupon then a run around the circuit; 15 Imperial walkers, run; 20 merkins, run; 25 squats with coupon, run.

Next up, “Gurls Night Out,” which I made up. 5 curls for gurls with coupon, of course; then 5 seconds of high-stepping; 10 curls, 10 second of high-stepping; 15 curls, 15 second of high-stepping. Rinse and repeat.

We shed the coupons and then did 7s with big boys and side-straddle hops.

Then mosey to the flag, and a round of Mary as the gazelles — Chicken Fried and Landingstrip — rejoined us for 10 burpees.

COT, announcements — 3rd F breakfast is this week with Canoe — prayers for Landingstrip’s travels, Blow and his family, Count and my family, and gratitude.

Good coffeteria chatter, specifically about children and dealing with screen time and fasts. It was recommended to the younger guys to make sure there is a period of the day (if not all day) that the kids cannot use their phones in order to keep the phones from taking over the kids’ lives and controlling negative influence coming from outside the home.
