Warm-o-Rama: short mosey, SSHs, week pickers, sun gods, Michael Phelps. Nothing special. More like a formality…
The Thang: started with an Indian run across the parking lot. Mixed in some bear crawls and crab walks just to keep it interesting. Made our way back to the start to partake in the Circle of Pain. 11 exercised were identified in a rather egg-like circle. Pax performed the exercises AMRAP for as long as it took another Pax to run a larger circle twice, then rotated. The exercises were: SSHs, BAMF tri extensions, frog squats, Carolina dry docks, BAMF kettle swings, Mallet cross hold (hold a 3lb mallet in each hand with arms out side to side- like a cross), coupon curls, squat/air press, post big boys, reverse lunge, and Alpos. All this while listening to a fine selection of motivating songs.
COT: Z93 helped us get to know him better. Mentioned Koi’s VQ coming up. We prayed for Z93’s work/family balance, Doughboy starting a new job, and Dunshire has two kids with surgeries coming up soon. And also that Dunshire would avoid the temptation to follow and freak out old ladies in the parking lot. Such a creeper….
It was my first post at the Colosseum, and an honor to stand in for Snot Rocket. What a great AO! So much room and so many parking spaces! Excited for the official launch next week and to see that area grow and flourish.
