We all sat in our cars wondering if the other guy was going to get out in the rain and the soon coming thunderstorm. Honeypot got donuts from Rays, I had coffee and another treat and we waited. Lexi was the first to get out and go to the pavilion by the bathrooms (close to Nease Road). I joined him with the Coffee and Buffalo Trace. Soon others came out and then there were 9 of us.
Grylls stepped up and began leading us in a beat down. Then we saw Honeypot drive off with the donuts. He didn’t want to get out of his truck. Later we found out, he had good reason because an F0 tornado touched down just a couple of miles away.
Each Pax took turns leading the beat down, and of course, Trill had us do an Indian Run and then mud burpees. That was fun. We celebrated at the end with Coffee and Buffalo Trace and ended with a trip to J. Christopher’s.
We were ignorant to the fact that a tornado was close by and had a grand morning.
