Walk about 10 steps to center of pavilion. 10 SSH’s; 10 imperial walkers; 10 weed pickers; sun gods and michael phelps OYO; 5 copperhead merkins; 5 copperhead squats. Mosey to monkey bars in middle of playground.
Modified Cooper. Perform 11 burpees, 11 merkins, 11 pull-ups, and 11 BBS’s, at playground, then run 3/4 of the sidewalk encircling the playground and adjoining field (about .2 miles). Rinse and repeat decreasing number of reps by one all the way down to 1, i.e., 66 reps of each exercise and approx. 2.6 miles ran in total.
With 10 minutes remaining, circle up in the sand pit for Bruce Lee – alternate merkins and air presses with core exercises. Performed at least 40 additional merkins, 40 air presses, crunchy frogs, flutter kicks, heel touches, and more.
We had 5, so Rembrandt volunteered for 6 man. His remarks about F3 sparked a great discussion among the PAX to try to drill down on how it is that F3 changes lives. PAX all had varying perspectives. Talked about the special culture at TLD. Prayers to Sky Q for healing and protection.
Naked Man Moleskin:
This was a great start for the Cat Box (or whatever we end up calling it). Great location with lots of great features and equipment – including monkey bars to really hammer our lats. And, we’re going to be able to do a lot with the sand at the playground and volleyball courts. Total bonus is the natural exfoliation one gets while rolling around in the sand (as Rembrandt noted).
