WARMUP: Warmed things up with a rotary phone routine, merkins at each number descending 9 to 1, 5 big boy sit ups at the start each time

THE THANG: Felt like time for Misty’s annual F3 Mace baseball edition. There are many imitations and variations but nothing like the original.

Batter rolls a die: 1=single, 2=double, 3=triple, 4=HR, 5&6=foul ball. Pitcher and outfield roll their dice and if either matches the batters # it’s an out. If both match everyone does 10 burpees and automatically switch sides.

Exercises were done by everyone and were 10 merkins for a single, 20 big boys for a double, 30 squats for a triple, and a lap around the bases for a HR. Burpees for each out.

Scoring was based on forcing “runners” around the bases.

The visiting team consisting of Rest Stop, Leaky and Peashooter got curb stomped by the home team of Hopper, Babyface and Misty 15-6, despite Rest Stops late game heroics of a 3-run homer with 2 outs in the ninth inning. Alas, too many foul balls in the field of play early and throughout the whole game led to their demise. That and MVP Hopper’s hot bat knocking balls out of the park time after time.

With 2+ miles and LOTS of big boy sit ups, it was a good day for the home team. Let’s hope our other home team can keep the Ws coming after a big game last night!
