Out and Back route from Canyons in DT Woodstock to Running Deer Pkwy, After creating the route Strava informed me there was a segment from Towne Lake to the top of Buckhead Crossing. The segment was .45 miles long with 140 ish ft of gain (cough I mean Pain) After looking over the leaderboard I decided not only was the CR obtainable I noticed the top 10 could use some more F3 names on it. We started on our journey down towne lake as with many run groups we have runners of all paces and abilities and a good out and back route allows PAX to turn around at 22:00 or so to make sure they make it back in time. The Segment now has a new KOM (MF Neon) after blasting up the segment those that wanted to continue to get 5 miles in were rewarded with More Hills. There were a few PAX that opted to turn around at the top. If we had not had enough hills yet we still had to make back down towne lake to DT Woodstock which is more climbing back to downtown. We finished the full route was 5.4 miles with 450 ft of elevation gain which is pancake flat after Panhandles Redline route last Sunday. Nobody got lost and everyone made back in time for the COT. Foosball and Snowflake took off for a ruck around who knows where and I suspect Foosball did some prerunning or warming up idk. as always Narco and Doddy are the smoothest most effient runners in all of F3 if you slack the will catch you lol. Trill, Lifeboat, and M2M opted for a shorter route turning arouydn at the top of the buckhead crossing segment.
COT- 6th man was Snowflake who was shocked bacause that never happens to him (Sarcasm). he said being 6th man is a special talent and we wish him all the best luck saving up so him and his M can buy a house by summertime. Pinnochio is requesting prayers for his Ms upcoming surgery. A quick prayer and then 2nd F time.
Coffee – I had to make like a banana and split shortly after the COT but am thankful for M2M for bringing coffee I still havent invested in a coffee ern or whatever its called.
The flying V was the first AO in F3 that I ever posted to and I look forward to continuing to grow with this group.
