WARMUP: ran a lap, did some burpees and SSH and pickers, high knees and butt kickers
THE THANG: Set out cones in a cross pattern
Teams of 5, vertical lines as related to the cones set out before you, which technically isn’t right either if vertical more accurately describes going straight up into the air. We could have done a PAX pyramid?
Anyway, one PAX from each team sprints to the first cone, shuffles left and right around the cones and sprints to the last cone and back to the team.
While waiting, different PAX calls exercises.
After, we lined up horizontally as it relates to the cones and Amber’s brain melted. After a debate and I swore he was about to pull up a chair and smoke a pipe while debating me in his smoke jacket (which I think he could really pull off well), we began.
Various movements to the end cone were done while one PAX stayed and did chest passes with the sandbag. Sprints, bear crawls, crab walks, skips, broad jumps, karaoke, etc…
Move to the pavilion, each PAX led an exercise for two rounds of dips, derkins, incline merkins, and knee ups with burpees and pulse lunges added in.
Was especially proud of how well VR, Captain and Buddy did! Splish Splash killed the cadence as well!
Back to the cones for a rematch. Burpee penalty for losing team in the first round but there was a tie the second time.
Spartans to finish us up (5 rounds)
Again, seriously impressed by all the 2.0s and PAX getting after it. Outside of whatever “broad jump” thing Harbor did. Think about the children!!!! He killed it on everything else.
And we had a boomerang! Next level up from a frisbee?!
