YHC decided that the time was right for my annual Q. However, with not a creative bone in my body I defaulted to one of my back pocket workouts.
Pax moseyed around the parking lot for a brief of warm up of weed pickers, SSH, sun gods, Michael Phelps, and copper head squats.
Conveniently enough our mosey had taken directly to one of 4 orange cones laid out in a square. Each leg of the square was approximately 100ft long. Each exercise would be completed along the 100ft legs. The workout went like so….
Leg 1 – Broad jump burpees — just like a standard burpee, but with a broad jump instead of a straight jump.
Leg 2 – Bear Crawl
Leg 3 – Inch worms
** Intermediate leg (stairs) – 15 calf raises on every other step
Leg 4 – Duck walk
Rinse and repeat for a total of 4 cycles.
At the end of 4 cycles Pax circled up for Mary until the 6 came in. Mosey to the flag for COT.
** Shout out to our calves for enduring approximately 750 calf raises (15 reps x 13 steps x 4 cycles)
