It’s the start of a new year and therefore the start of a new Monthly 5K challenge. This year in an attempt to get more Pax to participate in each month’s 5K we are bringing the route to each running AO. For this month I brought back a route from last year that provides both up and down hill fun. The goal is to improve with each month, regardless of route, so clearly you want to give it your best effort. I think all Pax brought there best effort, accept for me. I once again had a PR. No, not a Personal Record, a Poo Run. I’ve run twice this year and both times I’ve had to stop in the middle of the run to relieve myself. The urge was so overwhelming this time that I had to walk the last mile. Every time I tried to run that turtle tried to poke his head out. I did however complete the route. I got in my car and drove to the nearest restroom immediately after and before the beat down finished, but I made it back in time for the COT so it was all good. Sadly the Ruckers got more distance than I did this morning. There’s still time to get this month’s 5K in so all you PAX who haven’t run it yet, go get busy.
