THE THANG:
Gridiron Gains Rules
Starting Position:
Beginning possession at the 1-yard line. Before every play, the team performs 5 Side-Straddle Hops (SSH).

Gameplay Objective:
Complete a pass to advance the ball. The yard line of the catch determines the number of reps for a specific exercise zone.

Exercise Zones by Yard Line:
1–15 Yard Line:
  🟩 Bench Press with 80 lb Sandbag – reps equal to the catch yard line
16–30 Yard Line:
  🟨 Overhead Press with 40 lb Sandbag – reps equal to the catch yard line
31–50 Yard Line:
  🟥 Chin Pulls with 20 lb Pain Poles – reps equal to the catch yard line
Once the offense reaches the 50-yard line, they turn around and begin working toward the end zone.

Rules of Play:
Turnover Rule:
  - If a team fails to convert on 4th down, they start over.
  - If driving toward the 50, restart at the 1-yard line.
  - If driving toward the end zone, reset back to the 50.
Passing & Receiving:
  - Only one passer per play.
  - All other players are eligible receivers.
  - Receivers must run while holding pain poles.
  - Receivers may drop the poles only to make the catch.
  - Dropping too early results in a 5-yard penalty and replay of the down.
– While sandbags are in use, all other players rifle carry their pain poles.
Pre-Snap Routine:
  - 5 SSH before every play.
Standard football rules apply, such as offsides.
