Wanted to change it up and add some sandbags to the mix. I’ve been doing Heavy Drop Training for a couple of months and had a good workout to bring to WR. We started off with the Quarter Mile of Death, which included holding your ruck out in front for 1/4 mile. If you drop it , stop, reposition and continue.

Once completed, we started our upper body sandbag workout. We did merkins with a ruck or sandbag on our backs. Next was sandbag curls with with a 40 or 60# sandbag w/ruck on. Then onto the kneeling sandbag clean, 4ct sandbag military strict press and finished it off with sandbag pull throughs! We then went for a 3 mile ruck to stretch our legs. Good mumblechatter and finished off with COT and prayer for M2M speedy recovery as well as everyone’s families!
