Poor Twilight got woken up at 2am when his wife’s phone blared an alarm “Frost Warning!” Lol. It was 42 degress at the start of our work out. Hardly need for warning, but, such is life in a nanny state.
Believe it or not, we did not let this “adverse” weather deter us from gathering early, “planting, growning and serving this small workout group for men” called The Armory.
It started with the mosey, and warmups and into BLIMPS. Gotta love escalator BLIMPS — burps, lunges, imperial walkers, merkins and squats.
5 Burpies and a short run. Then 5 Burpies and 10 lunges and run again. Then 5 burps, 10 lunges and 15 IW, etc. If you’re going to be doing a Q, this will take up about 30 minutes with an 1/8-1/4- run in between each.
We moseyed to the big magnolia in front of the high school, did three burpies, and crabwalked to benches, where we did three dips and bear crawled back to the tree.
Because we were at the Armory, we HAD to hit the big hill in the back of the school, so we did three SSHs at the top, one squat at the bottom and to the flag.
Walk-off was the 6th man, and talk about family and making time for them, and challenges of having a good relationship with your M as well as your 2.0s. Thx WO!
