With VQ’s on the horizon; YHC attempted to do a Q school beat down.

This Q was going to take planning so YHC reached out to local HIM and Q school extraordinaire, Exile. All that know YHC, can contest… I plan Q’s on the fly, so this alone was something special. Don’t judge me.

First; the disclaimer, then PAX reviewed the core principles. Now time to get work-in; YHC reviewed Kodiak, single count, OYO, and the dreaded 6 count; deconstructed burpee, with warm up exercises.

Next PAX moved over to the sitting area for some bench work. Timed hold exercises and YHC did some slow and rapid count to really get PAX stretched and warmed up.

To challenge PAXs counting YHC played a game of 21, SSH counted to 7 and silently counted to 21.. PAX failed both attempts and paid in 5 penalty burpees. Is that failure a reflection on the teacher? Probably but, no one is perfect.

The Thang was a simple four corner routine; all motion from corner to corner were facing the airport. PAX came up with the exercise at each station. Reps were multiplied by 5. Some counted cadence to get practice in for their up-coming Qs.
