A lot of pain, a lot of gain today with a debut of Fast Mary for a happy ending……
short mosey, toy soldiers IC, Willie Mayes IC
Kinda like a half Murph but different: run 1 lap, 50-pull ups, 100-merkins, 150- big boi sit-ups broken into 10 rounds, run a lap.
200 yard bear crawl dash the length of the field .
Trail run; 1/2 mile or so through the bike skills, then Lion and Tiger trail out to the tennis courts.
Two rounds of burpee board jumps across the double tennis courts.
ROF: superman pose and SP punches pass around, hold 6 inchs and pass around 10- flutters, hold elbow plank and pass around 10-twisted mountain climbers.
Run up the dirty hole back to the field.
Fast Mary: Sprint across the field back and fourth several times, the winner of each round chose a Mary exercise; mostly targeting muscles that were once vital to us, and now rusty for most. Pickle pounders, prom dates, monkey humpers, J-Los and such….
Jackalope shared a text from his son F3 Bayside who his on a mission trip…. Thanking his dad for pushing him to be a leader; Bayside acknowledged the things that felt like punishment to him at the time are what have made him into the strong leader he is today and is grateful for it. Good Work Jackalope. Great inspiration for myself and probably many others as I struggle at times trying to figure if I’m pushing my kids too much or too little.
Prayers for Bayside on his mission and travels.
-You wanna loose friends… call a 200 yard bear crawl; no one liked it but everyone finished it! Good work!
-Fast Mary is here to stay. Really keeps the spectators guessing when they see us sprint and then hump the ground or air, or shake our rears.
