We had 5 brave souls make the trek to the Apex this a.m. We found the hill top windy, cold and dry.
Short Mosey to the front of the High School Gym for some SSH, Hill Billys, 4 count Merkins, Weedpickers, and 6 count Burpees
We had to do the classic Racoon Crawl along the wall at the High School. Then Classic Flutter kicks before a mosey to the Middle School stairs. On the stairs we did Classic Calf Raises (30 each leg and 30 both legs). On up to the Dips wall for the Classic series of dips and step up knee raises (20 X 3 sets of dips between 20 each leg of step up knee raises).
Mosey to the west parking lot at the middle school for some Classic Pulsing Lunges light pole to light pole. Next were Classic side straddles left followed by side straddle right to the end of the lot. Mosey on to Classic route 66 behind the Middle School. At the first light pole we did 20 Classic Diamond Merkins. High Knees to the next light pole. 20 Classic Freddie Mercury’s followed by Butt Kickers to the next light pole. 20 Classic Copperhead Squats then Bernie Sanders to the next light pole. 20 Classic Wide Merkins with a mosey to the next light pole. 10 each leg Classic Side Lunges. Bernie Sanders to the next light pole. 5 Right and 5 Left side Merkins. Mosey to the next light pole. Next were 3 Classic Push Pace runs for two light poles each to get the heart rates up. We walked to next light pole in between to bring heart rates back down. Once in front of the High School 20 Classic Box Cutters. Mosey back to where Q forgot he had left his pull up props for the final Classic two man pull ups 15 count. Mosey back to where the Flag is normally posted for COT.
I shared a story about my step son’s F3 journey beginning a year ago December. A skeptic in the beginning but now an advocate. Prayer requests for Brady Bunch and his family, Lamb Chop and his family both dealing with Covid, The Situation’s Father who is in the hospital in New Jersey and the family having to make decisions about his well being going forward.
I really appreciate the support from the pax this a.m. We worked so hard it wasn’t a problem keeping warm in the cold wind of the APEX. Hardly noticed it until the Hot Chocolateria. Have a great day!
