THE THANG: 81st D-Day Anni Ruck Based Q. We did a counter clockwise trip around the path stopping at each 1/4 mile marker for exercises focusing on the five beaches of the D-Day invasion. PAX had their ruck on and buddy carried sandbags & trainspikes on all movements between posts.
Post 1 – Sword Beach – approx 1000 casualties – 4x set of (25x BBS & 25x Freddie Mercury)
Post 2 – Juno Beach – approx 961 casualties – 96 SSH without stopping
Post 3 – Gold Beach – approx 1000 casualties – 100 American hammers without stopping
Post 4 – Utah Beach – 197 casualties – 100 LBCs & 97 airpress without stopping
Post 5 – Omaha Beach – approx 2400 casualties – 24x overhead press, curl, swing, flutter kick w/ rucks overhead.
